Brief Services Unit Intern - Neighborhood Legal Services Program
Summer 2020
Primary duties are to assist supervising attorneys through all stages of the brief services process, including client interviews, providing brief legal advice in all of NLSP’s practice areas, and assisting clients to fill out pro se court documents

Festival Producer and Program Coordinator - PLAY LA Workshop
October 2017 - August 2019
Produced new play festival consisting of six new play readings, two panel discussions, and one party. Oversaw budget and purchasing. Interfaced with overhead organization, producing theater partners, playwrights, actors, and festival staff. Oversaw all festival operations and payments. Created and distributed marketing materials. Oversaw mailing list. Organized and facilitated application and judging process for 2018/2019 writing award. Interfaced with all applicants. Attended writing meetings and served as dramaturg in conversation.

Producer - Nice Fish with Interact Theater Company
November 2017-March 2018
Produced full length play with theatre company. Oversaw budget and hiring process. Coordinated load in and strike schedule and personnel. Oversaw all working actions by creative and production team throughout process. Interfaced with company art committee. Ran general and budget meetings. Consistent check ins with all members of production. Managed communication between theatre space and theatre company to ensure beneficial working conditions for all involved.

Wrote coverage for film and television scripts. Researched stories for new content.

Aided in auditions and casting of productions. Worked with children ages 11-17 to put up two musicals and a short play. Printed materials for performers and staff. Assisted director in artistic decisions. Created and collected props for rehearsal and performances. Maintained actor, staff schedules, and rehearsal schedules. Maintained record of show cues and blocking. Provided rehearsal reports. Called cues for tech and dress rehearsals, and performances.

Ran a small babysitting company ensuring sitters for families as well as sitting myself. Nannying for children ages 6 mo. to 15 years. Responsible for children for between 3 and 8 hours. Responsible for supplying other sitters when unavailable.
